Why learn a new language?

Learning a new language affords students with opportunities to engage with individuals from other walks of life, teach new cultures, and help students in almost any career they choose. As well, language study has proven cognitive benefits that can improve memory, multitasking, listening skills, and communication skills.

The languages program at BRAA enables students to develop competence in reading and writing languages, as well as using it conversationally.

Depending on the semester of study, BRAA offers courses in French, and Mandarin. Additional international languages are introduced as would be determined by the priority for our current students.

Co-curricular clubs in world languages are also an option at our school as an avid interest in a mélange of global cultures is an exciting component of our curriculum and school life.
