Cherubina has been working and teaching in the field of Education for most of the last decade. She has a Bachelor of Art in English from Laurentian University, after obtaining this she taught grades 1-9 and adults in Japan for 3 years, working at over 20 schools during this time. Returning to Ontario, she completed her Master's of Science in Adolecent's education from D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. As a result she is also certified to teach in New York State. Cherubina has also been certified to teach in Las Vegas, there she primarily taught middle school English and ESL. She worked with a team who were tasked with the creation of the learning management system for the State of Florida, writing the English curriculum for students in 1st through 5th grade. For the last two years she has taught with Columbia International College, teaching Social Studies, Business, English, and ESL. As of now, she is working towards her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership through Northcentral University in Arizona. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work at the Burlington Royal Arts Academy to ensure
that students are gaining more than just an education and achieving mastery level in their courses which will ensure their success as they move on in their lives.
